Just thought it would be an interesting thread to see what some are running for 5-0 protection...Perhaps some pics including detector location and install?...Questions?...Reviews...Whatever!

I myself run the Escort Redline BS/RDR & Anti Laser Priority Triple Parking Sensors ;)

I won't tell you. You're 5-0. :giggle:

I use a 12-band Cobra that I bought 5 years ago. It does its job and keeps me alerted, but I rarely speed anyway.

 :shhhh:...Yeah, like most, it is more of an awareness tool...But, I would not be without one!...Just a handy gadget like anything else

8500 x50. Bought it 5 years ago used and it is still chugging along fine. Saved me from 1 ticket that I am sure of so I say it paid for itself.

I use a Cobra 9545 that I got pretty cheap. It gets the job done and works great on the interstate where i drive the most.

I feel like if you ever needed alerts for a helicopter, you'd already be screwed haha

The S3 is decent. But I have mine hooked up with the direct wire smartcord. Only thing I see is the smartcord head. Discretely placed.

I'm confused... The OP is a police officer but still bought/uses a radar detector?

Why waste your money on one? Just show your badge if you get pulled over.

Can you attach/detach it easily if its like that? looks really good, but I dont want my detector visible all the time...
Yea I do every day,it clips out in a second, and has a telephone jack style clip.works great, got the hardware kit that goes into fuse box and mount for around 40 dollars.
