So im getting these enkei rims off a budy for nothing cause they are scuffed up pretty bad so im going to smooth them out and give them fresh paint. Just wanted to see what everybody thought would look good color wise. Right now im kinda thinking white with the lip red. There are going on a black si sedan. Just let me know what you think would look good.

They're definitely not my cup of tea either, but I wouldn't go so far as to say I'd never put them on my car. Free is always awesome, but there are a few things you have to ask yourself:First if money were no object what aftermarket wheel would you buy? Do you actually like the wheels, or are you considering them because they're free? Since they're messed up, what are you willing to do to make them better so that you're happy having them on your car?

I generally love multi spoke wheels, but these are a little busy for me because of the hex screws, and I've never really liked wheels with all the extra holes in the center. They're free so obviously you're not trying to fully restore them or have them powder coated. If you wanted to spend that much money you'd just buy wheels you actually wanted. I don't know how messed up the set is. could they be made to look better but sanding some of it out, or are they too far gone? Clean them up a little then paint them red. I love how red wheels look on black and white cars.

Ill be able to sand them all smooth before painting them. And personally I really do like these wheels and would be considering them even if they weren't free. The only thing I don't like is that they have the holes for the other lug pattern on them but I can deal with that. I've been looking at wheels for a while and havnt found anything that I really like that wouldn't cost me my first born child. This is the first wheel I've come across that I could actually see myself putting on my car. I was thinking red I just didn't know if all red would be to much.

My friend's theory is that a car should have 3 colors: The primary color the car's painted, the secondary color of wheels, and accent colors for things like emblems/lug nuts/grille/etc. If I were you I'd probably go the route of the red "H" front and rear badges, switch the ivtec decals for red versions, then paint the wheels red. I had a similar scheme on my first 8th gen although my car was white, and I never did paint my wheels red (I do still have plans for them though). He's how it looked:

Ya I def plan on red accents with the red badging. And I like the idea or red wheels just not positive if I want them all red or like I was thinking white with the lip of them red. I know im not going to go black cause the wife does not like black wheels on black cars. She does not like my stock wheels being plastidipped black at all. Says its to plain. She would probably like the all red better.

In the end it's your car and you should do whatever you want to do to it. My feeling though is that the white wheels with a red lip distort the simplicity of a black & red car.

That does look good. I may end up going red but it may have to wait for now. If everything works out hopfully tomarrow ill be ordering a p2r intake manifold runners so we can finally get a review of them on here. Ill worry about the wheels latter in favor of some power adding goodies.
