Posting this here, seeking input...
I've been reading up here and there, and just can't find what I'm looking for...that will WORK on my car.

Ever since I upgraded wheels and tires, the fender gap seems more noticeable. I've got 18x8 +40 Konigs on 225/40 Falkens, and it looks like a 4x4 in the front especially. The rear gap doesn't bother me too much though. I just want a slight drop...not much at all.

I'd decided I'd get the HFP setup, only to learn that they won't work on a '14, due to the front knuckle changes. I've read that the Eibach Pro-kit springs were the next "mildest" drop, but have a couple concerns with them. First: there's a lotta complaints about low speed noises with the Pro-kits; comments about bad engineering, and isolators, and improper fitment for the '14+ Civics. Second: confusion over the actual drop they'll give. I've read everything from 1.2"F & 1.0"R to 1.5"F & 1.3"R. I don't want a 1.5" drop. I'd love around 1".

If I wanted more, I know the H&Rs and the Teins typically show around a 1.5" drop. The Swifts list 1.0", but I've heard they ride rougher. I want as smooth a ride as possible. And I'm NOT interested in coilovers. Just springs and camber arms for me, thank you very much.

I have Eibach Prokit on 2014 Coupe. There are some noises in the morning coming from the front once in a while. Usually when it's below 50f outside.

I think Swift springs only have 1" drop

Thanks guys. I'll have to dig deeper. Your coupe looks sweet Michal, but I'm an old fart, and may want slightly less drop. Do you have a side view, where I can see the fender gap well? How much drop would you say they gave, after settling?

I'll read up on the Swifts. Just hope the ride isn't too bad, which is my only concern with them.

Side thought...what about 2nd hand HFP springs? Wondering if the springs themselves would work on the '14 shocks and struts? Guess I'm thinking that it'd be the HFP strut assembly itself that would interfere with the front knuckles.

If you're looking for right around 1" of drop the Swifts look like the best option. At that slight of a drop you might not even need camber arms. I would say to install them and then get an alignment and see where your rear camber ends up. If its too far negative pick up a set of camber arms at that point.

Coil bind has been an issue on the Eibachs in the past which might be some of the noises people hear at low speeds. I don't know much about the Swift springs.

image.jpeg I have an H&R on koni yellows setup. it was about a 1.4 in drop all around. I havent had one noise yet. Im not gonna say that it feels completly stock but pretty close. I drove my si for about 2 months without an alignment. When i took it in, the front was green but the back was off by .03 so i went ahead and installed some godspeed camber arms. In the two months that i drove it before alignment i couldnt feel or see anything unusual. I simply got the camber kit due to the recommendations of all the vets on 9thcivic and so far havent been steered wrong. I dont rub or scrape at all. I also have a pro civic front lip to sdd the clearance. Let me know if u have any more questions.

Ordered Dorman/SPC camber arms last night off Amazon, and Swift R-Spec springs tonight from fkx racing/team3d. Can't wait to get rid of the 4x4 fender gap!

@Alberto0019...do you have Koni Yellows up front? If so, I'm guessing you had to mod the OE struts to take the cartridge? I hate that there's not much available for the 14/15's front struts.

I didn t domy research and was only able to install the rear shocks. I had to leave the front on stock strut/ shock. Moving to florida in the next few months and a freind of mine has a fabrication shop hopefully he can help.

Installing the front cartridges isn't all too bad, just time consuming.

Also to OP Swift springs are amazing. I've riden in multiple cars on swift springs and they feel absolutely amazing. Ride quality isn't really sacrificed, its feels fine here in California although you can feel imperfections on the road more it doesn't feel rough(Hard to explain). Plus they would work in OEM shocks. I'm getting swifts with a Koni Yellow combo setup within the next 30 days.
