I've been reading up here and there, and just can't find what I'm looking for...that will WORK on my car.
Ever since I upgraded wheels and tires, the fender gap seems more noticeable. I've got 18x8 +40 Konigs on 225/40 Falkens, and it looks like a 4x4 in the front especially. The rear gap doesn't bother me too much though. I just want a slight drop...not much at all.
I'd decided I'd get the HFP setup, only to learn that they won't work on a '14, due to the front knuckle changes. I've read that the Eibach Pro-kit springs were the next "mildest" drop, but have a couple concerns with them. First: there's a lotta complaints about low speed noises with the Pro-kits; comments about bad engineering, and isolators, and improper fitment for the '14+ Civics. Second: confusion over the actual drop they'll give. I've read everything from 1.2"F & 1.0"R to 1.5"F & 1.3"R. I don't want a 1.5" drop. I'd love around 1".
If I wanted more, I know the H&Rs and the Teins typically show around a 1.5" drop. The Swifts list 1.0", but I've heard they ride rougher. I want as smooth a ride as possible. And I'm NOT interested in coilovers. Just springs and camber arms for me, thank you very much.
