This is just a quick review on a place I ordered wheels from.

FRSport.com

They are not a forum member/vendor. I was looking for XXR527's for the wife's car. They had them listed for a great price and had a reasonable shipping option. I was able to call and talk to a real person and although they did not have one of those "automated" live chat sessions available I was able to check and see if they had the parts in stock through AOL Instant Messenger.

Yes. That's correct. AIM. Seriously. Pretty funny as I haven't used it in about 10 years but they responded quickly.

Overall very good service with lots of communication.
Great pricing even with shipping.
Shipping was very reasonable at $57 for 4 wheels from CA to NY. It took less than a week to arrive also.
Tracking was through UPS, which I was emailed the # the day I ordered, but UPS tracking is pretty worthless due to UPS themselves not updating.

If you're looking for wheels they might be worth checking out.

Hey, I just wanted to put my input on their service also,

I actually live in California, so I was able to pick up. I ordered h&r springs from them over the phone and it only took them about five minutes to get everything processed and about 2-3 days for it to arrive at the location where I just went and picked it up. Overall they had great service and everything went swell.

Thanks guys for all your help and suggestions. I have ordered wheels for my wifes car. (8th gen sedan) After some debate and showing her all the "nice" options in "real" wheels, with a lot of help from all the posts, wheels have been ordered.

Not my favorite choice but she really really likes em, and I think the size will look good. She did do her own research so I have to say she did pick a beast of a size... I tried to talk her out of them saying they didn't come in a good width and offset in 18s. She went on dangnabit 8thcivic and got specs...... I was trying to get her into Wedsport SA55s...

The final verdict:

XXR 527's in 18x8.75 +35 in Gold.

They will fit with her HFP drop with no fender work and no rubbing. Going to run a 235/35 or 235/40 tire depending on availability and price. Ill post pics when mounted.

Yup! 8th gen LX sedan. Going to be running a 225/40/18 tire though. Couldn't find a reasonable tire in 235. Section width on a 225 is 9" though so it should cover an 8.75" decently.

Awesome wife! Wish my wife shared my interest in cars! She just likes getting hers dirty while I chase keeping it clean...
