there are no current limits on magazines. Inventory is an issue. They offer 12 round magazines with extenders on them like this -
http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/product/16349

It kind of defeats the purpose of having the subcompact though with additional size on the grip

I do have a sub compact just for that reason....Compact........ Most of the time I carry my Spurless SS Ruger SP-101 5-shot revolver .357 and a speed loader.
Ammo for the 5 .... Hornady FTX 125 gr

Yep, but how many of those other countries are first world countries.... ? :D Of course, in poverty stricken countries crime will be higher, that's all I am saying.

That really wasn't the point I was making, but that the countries listed have 100% gun bans. It just shows that bans don't work.
England isn't on the list because they don't have a 100% gun ban, they are allowed hunting rifles. Back n the late 60's, early 70's while I was there the police didn't carry guns, just night sticks. They have some of the toughest anti-smuggling enforcements, and yet the illegal gun problems keep getting worse. Point is taking the guns away from legal gun owners isn't going to do anything but give the criminal the freedom of using their guns knowing the legal ppl that gave up their arms, are now unarmed.

Canada has gun control as well, yet our firearm deaths are lower per capita. It's not a bad thing IMO, and I'm actually pretty glad we have it. We don't want other people walking around with lethal weapons under the premise of self defense and that's just the way our country works. It's not a right here, but a privilege you apply for and is strictly regulated. Just saying...

/disclaimer I DO own Firearms and am acquiring more.. but for hunting/target shooting.

Canada is a country that's not infested with a lot of corrupted white collar criminals, and government. It was mentioned that the USA wasn't a 3 world country, but yet we have 3 world problems unlike Canada, ppl living in poverty, unemployment sky high, interracial problems to the extreme. It's also hard to live homeless in an area such as Canada with the temp's being too low 8 months out of the year for a homeless criminal lifestyle.
Also it never seems to be brought to light by our media that having a gun also prevents government radicals leaders (IE; Hitler, etc.) from repeating history like this over and over.
It seems that as a country moves to better itself, there becomes a cloud that sweeps over the people, and history is forgotten, where anyone watching the US's path of destruction, might want to revisit the history of world dictators.

I'm not sure I'll ever agree or understand with this perspective and mentality, but if you think there are no homeless people in Canada, that's just false. There are hundreds of homeless people in Ottawa if not thousands and we were at -30c/-22f this morning. It's uncomfortable for the homeless people, believe me, but they still exist here. It's terrible in Vancouver and Toronto and Montreal as well... I've never felt the need to shoot a homeless person though. That aside, we have similar problems to the USA. White collar crime and gang crime exist here too... (probably not much need to shoot people on white collar crime, but if you're being broken into, I guess it's a possibility.. it's never come up for me).. as for gang crime, that really seems to be focused on rival gangs and if you're not involved, you are not likely to become involved or targeted. The main difference here is our perspective on the matters and the solution. I don't think either of our countries is in danger of Hitler taking over and I don't know I'll ever agree that arming everyone is a good solution to anything.

Again, I *do* own firearms but I completely agree with the restriction and licensing of their sale... as well as limiting the use to hunting and target shooting.

I know people who'd equate Obama to hitler, and believe the world will end because he has a 2nd term.

Of course ppl have different views of how to protect ourselves and our countries. We also have different views on how to make money, some work for it while others rob for it, some with guns, some with white collars. Not that I think we should shoot white collar thieves, that's what the courts are for. Nor should we shoot the homeless(never entered my mind), but if a person homeless or not is treating to take my life, then it takes another avenue of what needs to be done.
I have in the past had my apt door kicked in and 3 ppl came in armed with guns. I wasn't there at the time, and moved out the next day, and had I been there if the purpose of the break in was to kill me(or scare me), I more than likely would have died that day, either by not having enough fire power to stop them(only had a revolver), or not having an assault weapon in my lap. Odd that the reason I believe they broke in was because of my doing my civic duty as a witness in court to have a white collar criminal prosecuted. I'd say it would be hard to change my opinion on owning guns.

All opinions aside.. this is my Tikka T3 Laminated 30-06. It has a Nikon Prostaff 3-9x50 scope.

Hopefully acquiring a Benelli SuperNova in black next week... should be just like this one:

Tikka T3, looks nice, is that a floating barrel ? I used to have a large assortment of rifles an shotguns, one of my favourites was a browning 32" over/under trap with the holes in the top to restrict the rise upon recoil. I have passed most of my weapons onto my grandsons, Hunter, and Fisher would you believe ?

Michael Hurd, and dentrecords, thx for the opinions, I'm always open to any discussion about any subject, I think a lot of the problems we have is because there are ppl that can't do so without getting irritated while doing so.
