Possibly, it looks like he did not brake soon enough by far. I hear no braking and visually the speed seems not to decrease fast enough. Regardless why I bet they're pretty sorry now.
 
They were going at least 115-120mph. Reaction time gets pretty bad when you're driving that fast especially on a curved road where traffic is hard to spot. I'm guessing more than two dozen cars were hit. They are at least lucky by not rear ending a car or that would have been much more tragic.
 
That's what I call tunnel vison, and I'm not talking about the tunnel........... Not to mention the look on the passengers face..... I don't think he wanted to be in there.
 
He was target fixated on catching that mc that went through same path.
 
Which shows some people should not speed. Every good racer knows the race is between him/her and the road not him and the other cars. A good lap time and the proper overtake opportunity gives you that not chasing the rabbit. Of course it matters what others do but you would most of the times fail if you only care about what the guy in front is doing.

I still find it hard to get why in almost 3 seconds there is no braking squeal or a visible hard stop attempt. Very fortunate they went in between the rows of cars.

Good example of why racing on roads is not good, especially when you lack the skills or experience. Not hinting i have that, I wish I would though ;)

reminds me of a pontiac interior... like a grand prix maybe.

that wrx wreck was a mess. Imagine his insurance paying for every one of those cars he just destroyed!

It was in Russia so he may get off easy if he's rich enough. Insurance has diff rules compared to here. Untill 2003 car insurance was not mandatory :) Not sure how it works nowadays.
 
so every car owner hops out with a weapon or gun and shoots the guy.

Many people are not happy, but that one person is pissed! Lol.
