Today was Best Buy pickup day. Two different Best Buy locations (1 for the Xbox X / 1 for Switch and PS5)

Selling an SF600 PSU, one of the two Kraken X53 AIOs I have, some Noctua 120mm fans. Time to unload some of the excess that I have.

Good news for @bootyluvr, I have the original packaging and everything for the 1080 FTW. It should be coming out of the computer by the end of the month as my new, bigger O11 Air should be showing up just after Thanksgiving.

Gonna be selling a SX700 PSU and Ncase M1 case too, some more Noctua fans (120mm x 15mm variety) in the next couple of weeks too. All sorts of stuff going out the door (hopefully).

Abandoning the AIO route for the computers and just going with quality tower coolers. U9S for the 5600X and a U12A for the 5800X

Hit me up (via text) on a package deal. Serious.

600w PSU, X53, Fans and 1080 FTW.

U12A for the 5800X

I'm curious what temps you get with the U12A on the 5800X.

5800X is weird. Not doing anything crazy (just basic applications - Chrome tabs, Discord Client Open) it hit 65.6C (idling around 32C).

I'll let you know with the 5800X when I get everything configured. Mine has s always run hot for me but I have one of the first batches of those from October 2020.

It got to 71C last night when playing Forza 5. Of course it's not pegged there. It hits it for a second or less.

I got mine early 2021. I think lol

Moved the shelving on my desk. Now have 18” of clearance for a case. The one coming in is 15” tall, so I’ll have a few inches to spare up above to let it breathe.

Case is halfway up the coast. Should be putting the new setup together next weekend.2D925AF7-93ED-466B-B4C2-8C47C274EF60.jpegC98D34C5-D3E7-418E-8661-338275B515B3.jpeg

That's pretty cool! Definitely not something you see much.

It’s my home office for two. The desk is a 9’x9’ corner desk made from oak butcher block, solid oak shelves, and 1” iron pipe.

In the corner between the two sides, I built shelves to fit NCase M1 case sized computers in those cubbies. The other side has two shelves for books and stuff. Added recessed lighting to make the office bright. Just a piece of our office remodel last year. Works out because we now work 80% of the time from home.

But, the new 3080 Ti doesn’t fit into the NCase. So, I bought a bigger case, the O11 Air. So, to prepare the desk, I modified the one side cubbie to fit the bigger case, that’s what I was modifying, I added a coupler and a 5” pipe to extend my space from 12” to 18”. I have a wider piece of wood for the shelf I’m finishing so it can accommodate the 11”+ width of the new case.
