Mother Of All Whore Threads Non-VIP Edition v.1

I think its just a placebo effect.....lol. Like back in the 8th gen days when everyone tried any and all different fluids which ended up with the same "results". It feels amazing/different at first then once the fluid "wears in" it's just like any other fluid.

Not sure if anyone ended up testing the fluids like an oil analysis so take it for what its worth, lol.
im sure thats true. i remember reading about it on the forums years ago too. we will see. it only grinds going into 2nd or 3rd at high rpm but that could also be due to the engine moving a lot so i hope the torque mount helps as well. i think as long as nothing breaks due to the drag radials i'll be happy.

3-day weekend :woot:
Dude ain't nobody at work today -- me and like 3 other guys came in while the other 5 took off :rotfl:

Test and tune day.
Everything fits in the trunk with the sub woofer and spare tire out. I was going to pull out the rear seats but they don't weigh much for the effort.

I got two runs in. First test and tune of the year so they took for ever to set up. Supposed to start racing at 1 but didn't start till 3. I was there since 11 am.

Ran a 9.557 and a 9.577. Was hoping to go faster than my best 9.4, maybe tomorrow. Not sure if I'm getting the tires hot enough but they certainly grip better. Pick up rocks easily. But If I do 9.5xx all day and dial in with a 9.5 for the race tomorrow I have a chance of winning. I was hoping for a 9.3 or 9.2. Still spinning off the line too. I need to play around with the launch control because I'm not using it.

Good Luck today. :thumb:

Spent some time today doing various things on my car. One of the things I did manage to do was pull out the leaky freeze plug; and, it didn’t go quietly. It took longer than I care to admit.

And, since I’m back there, I pulled the other one as well; it was a bit of a challenge too; but quicker overall (the engine picture won’t load for some reason, same problem as before; but it’s attached)

New freeze plugs should be here from Mitsubishi Tuesday (according to USPS).

Well. Lost first round. I ran two 9.38s in a row. Dialed in 9.4 and I lifted thinking I was going lose. Bracket racing is hard. Set was a full second faster than me and should have been in the faster group. I either forgot to turn traction off or it turned back on when I did my burn out. But it was fun. I won a couple races practicing.
My parking brake won't hold my rear wheels to do a good burnout.

At this point I'm thinking of just not doing a burn out and using the launch control to get consistent launch. I'm launching with my foot and it's inconsistent. Also surprised how easy the car will spin 245 100 tread wear drag radials in first and second.
