Mother Of All Whore Threads Non-VIP Edition v.1

Well. Lost first round. I ran two 9.38s in a row. Dialed in 9.4 and I lifted thinking I was going lose. Bracket racing is hard. Set was a full second faster than me and should have been in the faster group. I either forgot to turn traction off or it turned back on when I did my burn out. But it was fun. I won a couple races practicing.
My parking brake won't hold my rear wheels to do a good burnout.

At this point I'm thinking of just not doing a burn out and using the launch control to get consistent launch. I'm launching with my foot and it's inconsistent. Also surprised how easy the car will spin 245 100 tread wear drag radials in first and second.

Sorry to hear you lost. But, as long as you had fun, that’s what really truly matters.

I'm still new at it. Still learning. Still having fun. I was not nice to my transmission though and I have to say the gm synchromesh did work. Never had a grind shifting at 7500rpm. Little concerned that my injector duty hit 100% a few times. But no knock.

How you let that Jeep beat you? ;)
Because it has a factory launch control and he has a draggy so he knew exactly what time he would run. Kind of cheating.

I do need to figure out why my e brake won't hold my back wheels when doing a burn out though. I never got the tires hot enough.

I spent part of my holiday with no A/C, but it did start working again yesterday. I think maybe the super high-heat/humidity combo stunlocked it or whatever.

To celebrate the return of the appliance's functionality, I stayed up way too late playing Unicorn Overlord and am now suffering for it.

Kinda worth it.

Worn rear pads? cable needs adjusting?

Is maintenance going to come out anyways to still look at it? Don't want to forget about it then it really stops working during the summer months.

I sent in a maintenance request in the little module thingy, but I never got a confirmation for it. If it doesn't show anything in my email, I'll resubmit it just to have it double-checked. I submitted it like Sunday Night, and it started working again on Monday (I assumed it was broken, but turned it on just out of curiosity once it started to rain outside). Maybe the unit is external or something and they did work on it? I don't know how apartment A/C works, but I know the units are on the roof.

Wonder if anyone else in the complex is having issues. Maybe the unit that controls your apartment and people on your floor/around you might be affected. Not sure.
