Mother Of All Whore Threads Non-VIP Edition v.1

I get to replace the front cover gasket on a 6.7 Cummins today. It's not a fun job. I've been working too hard this week.
What makes this job particularly unenjoyable? Sounds like it will have decent money in it due to the labor time to disassemble the front of the engine to replace the gasket (this thought is in reference to the one in regards to my freeze plug repair having to remove the transmission/clutch).

pays like 14 hours. dont want to know what it pays if it were warranty.
part i hate is using the tool to lift up the lifters and pray they dont fall off and into the oil pan. also leaning over the front of the truck isnt fun. but i might dissasemble the front this time. theres also the potential leak form the oil pan after.
 
I spent most of the day working on that truck. I got the camshaft out. It was really difficult, it kept getting stuck. Then I removed the oil pan and got the lifter out. Then used the special tool to put the lifter back in. Then it got stuck some how. Then I drop a couple more lifters but the tool stops them from falling but I can't get them back up. One I had to tap down so the bore has an issue so pulling it up is impossible. Super stressful day.

Anyways. This is the civic that was traded in at work.
