LED Brake Lights?

Does anyone know if these exist or will exist somewhere? I'm still reading up on all of the retrofitting of projector headlights but would get a set of LED brake lights right now if they are out there.

you want led tail lights ?

projectors are $850 shipped, civic hybrid led tail lights are $560 a set + shipping + tax

you can buy led's @ any honda dealership or colleghillshonda.... it's not a big deal...

the only thing is, can you handle the blue tinted part on top of the tail lights
 
hmm, will have to look into those. Never looked for anything from Honda. Thought it would have to come from an aftermarket source.

You can make a custom led tail light using the stock ones. But it requires a lot of work and patience.

Been there.....tried that. I tried making my own LED arrays and retrofitting Accors coupe LED arrays. Main issue was cleanly opening up the tails since they are plastic welded together. Still have a bunch of Phillips red LEDs at the house.

If I were to do it again I would go for Camry LED arrays.
 
Hasn't ethlar done a custom LED tail lights?
 
ive gone over designs, never gotten them built

if you go with just led bulbs where can u get a resistor from. I noticed the led bulbs on xenoxdepot the other day.
 
Are the Civic Hybrid taillights drop in and plug n play on the non hybrids/Si's??

right here are LED sedan tailights for $219 Plug and play. and also i told him if i got enough people intrested in getting some coupe tailights made he would send a request in to get LED taillights made for the 2012 civic coupe. so check it out and send the seller a message saying that 9thcivic.com forum users are requesting a coupe version of these LED tailights to be made.

Really. I'd seen them before and was contemplating buying them for the last few weeks. I was looking at my taillights last night and just decided I could no longer deal with how antiquated they are on such a new car. I had thought about doing the hybrid taillights, but they just don't look all that cool, especially for the price. I'm really hoping these things look as cool in person as they do in the pictures, otherwise I've made a $220 mistake. I guess we'll see next week when the arrive. I'll post pictures.

I'll try and get better pictures with a DSLR, but here they are. I like them.
