Nomar is a baller. I get it lol
I wish…the key is not picking a weekend day. Makes it cheaper. But when we went, we spent $2700 for 4 days, airfare, ride to and from resort and all tipping(prob less than $100). Much much cheaper during coving. Oh, we also upgraded to the ocean front room for $180…which I included in the $2700.

I miss COVID.
First flight our kids ever took was during COVID and we got 6 seats to ourselves.

so the resort likely dropped their prices a ton during covid due to horrible reservation numbers

Yeah....it was half empty or more....but made it nicer for us, lol

Booked our first vacation in 2 years. Sayulita Mexico. 10 days at an air BNB.

Congrats! Never heard of that town.

Edit: Shiiiiit! That's WAY the **** down there in Mexico. How the hell did you pick that place?

Edit x2: Nevermind. It's a bit north of Puerto Vallarta and I've heard people go there.

Yeah it's gotten popular over the years. About an hour drive from Puerto Vallarta.

We leave the 27th , not with delta. I hate and love flying. I hate turbulence and being 30 000 feet in the air. It's like scuba diving but the opposite.

I don't like the taking off and landing part as well as turbulence. Has to do with my stomach issues mainly, but still.

I like flying. I don’t get to do it enough. Hate the airport experience though

I'm guessing its the same as in DR....the local cabbies to whatever try to get your business and charge you a bunch of money. This happens in Argentina also. People just taking advantage of foreigners.

I had something happen to me back when I was in college and went to Cancun. Guy at a bar tried giving me the wrong amount of change back to me. I started talking to him in Spanish and then he gave me the right amount of money back.

Also, I had an upset stomach or something and had the throw-up out on the street one night at around a bunch of bars. By the time I finished and turned around there were 5 or 6 cops all yelling at me and whatnot. I again started speaking Spanish to them and explained the situation and they just all walked away. Not sure what would of happened if I was an American....lol But I can understand this with a bunch of drunk college peeps being all dumb and stuff.

I had a person trying to collect 3 dollars for anyone trying to use a public restroom before. He tried to block anyone from going in if they didn't pay him.
