    Official Computer Talk Thread

Yes, I am. I use a separate raspberry pi with Pi-hole installed to act as my DNS server. Pi-hole is software that aggregates lists of known advertising/spam/etc domains and sends them to a "black hole" when any website attempts to access them; hence the name. The result is that I practically...

I can't say with certainty, but I'm pretty sure my pi-hole (insert big-boned joke here) is the reason I never see that garbage.

"...and one thing you'll notice is you get a bulge" From the wrap to the presenter, this video just makes me laugh. I hate how this car gives me that old butterfly feeling. I do not need a car...

Upgrade NAVI Civic Si 2015 in a Civic 2013 EX

Well I never spent much time going down that rabbit hole once I realized that the physical connectors on the nav unit mainboard didn't exist. I was mainly interested in something simple like "plug, play, done", and that just wasn't going to be the case with the 2012 nav unit. My limited...

Can't complain. I don't use it as much as I should and I definitely didn't need it, but it's a better case for the video card and now it doesn't freak out over heating issues.

I put it on my newly-built computer. Not really a fan of it, although they have been slowly re-adding features they stripped out of it. Meh.

There are a lot of open-air cases on the market. I preferred the simplicity of this one. It's primarily to be used as test/work benches, or for water cooling. I just liked the look of it. After getting it settled in its final place, I ran into cable length limitations due to my standing desk...

I prefer the look of the reference card. I wanted an open-air case this time. The 3090 generates way too much heat for a closed one. It was way easier to put it all together and it's capable of being converted into a workbench.
