Hey guys,
I'm selling my stock suspension locally and I can't find anything that shows a price range for it... Any ideas how much I should make it go for?
No noises really. I hear a little knocking from the rear every now and then but that's it. and I haven't touched the preload.. you aren't really supposed to. if you're talking about dampening there's a knob on top with 12 points of adjustment from hard to soft and I'm set in the Middle all around.
Hey guys couldn't find a decent post on debadging...
on my 8th gen I took off the civic emblem and it made it look way cleaner except for some of the paint peeled off with the badge...
So on my new 9th I have a badge from my dealership and the civic badge I wanna take off but I need advice on...
Yeah you should be fine. I've seen way more aggressive offsets with people dropped a lot lower man. You'll need a fender roll in the back and may have to possibly cut the fender liners in the fronts at the most.. good luck and post pictures.
as for front camber, unless you want to run mexiflush with like 6 degrees of camber, the tophat and strut assembly will give you plenty of wiggle room to adjust the camber
thanks guys sorry I'm late on this. And you don't need camber arms really. your rear camber will be off meaning your passenger side will most likely be more or less camber than the other side depending on how lucky you get haha
Also, if you're getting an intake, I wouldn't recommend a K&N... Not only because the smaller piping but because they just make a cheap product that people will buy. you wouldn't have much gain at all from it. But let us know how everything g turns out.. why get 8-10 hp and risking the internals...
You're gonna be sacrificing power by putting basically any bolt on to this car except for like a Catback which depending on the type it could show a decrease in power also. The ecu in cars are evolving and our cars ecu' are veryyyyy sensitive. if you want to do any engine mods I seriously...
you're gonna have to run a smaller tire and more camber. since you got a +20 offset your rim is gonna poke out 15mm more than it was.. So I would suggest a couple degrees of camber and a 205/40
There is a spray called "Gunk" and you spray it everywhere under the hood and go to a car wash and high pressure spray it off. if you want it to look even better you can get a small brush and get in all the cracks before you spray it off. don't worry about anything getting wet, just don't hold...
thanks man.. and the fronts have adjustable camber on the tophat.. but other than that nothing right now. I ordered arms for the rear yesterday.. so waiting for them to come in lol
