I def have found out already in the R.......sort of my fault, lol

I know the 8thGen Si's also has a fuel cut off when stock and banging on the limiter.
 
Once you get into redline it’ll keep bouncing down a few hundred rpm from fuel cut. You can definitely bang off the fuel cut for long periods. @Nomar06 prob remembers a vid of an 8th gen si bouncing off the limiter for like 20-30 seconds straight.

Then there are people trying to kill a motor with water bouncing off the limiter like so

I think all of us Honda boys have been there before, I know I have a few times in my EG hatch
