No man it's got to go whole thing, it's a out if site out if mind stage now.
 
This will be my life's work to find a legitimate Si Tip for less than $100....or an 8th Si axel back in good condition.

Keep looking! I bought an 8th gen Si axle back for $75 a while back, it had ~2,000 miles on it and was in mint condition. I regret selling it :sadbanana:

Certainly doable at a shop ya. Anything is if you wanna pay. Shipping would be a nightmare too. Budget would be broken big time. :(
