2013 Honda Civic Redesign Info - Updates Inside

kinda jealous about the new standard features, but those tail lights.... no just no and the chrome on the trunk.... no no no. glad i bought a '12. The interior upgrades are nice, minus the chrome, kinda reminds me of the X5's interior, but i still don't see what is so wrong with the 12's, i wasn't expecting a luxury interior when i went to the honda dealership, but apparently others were. If they really wanted to upgrade they should have gave the SI leather heated seats. I love using those things when i drive the X5 at work. i think i would be sold if they done this. Also i'm digging the 7th gen throwback on the wing, loved the look of those cars.
 
Had I bought the 2012 Si Sedan, I may have taken a harder look at the 2013 model. I got my Si Coupe for a really good price, and for all its shortcomings and lack of nicer touchpoints in the interior, I really can't complain. Also, perhaps some of the parts for the 2013 model are interchangeable with the 2012. I do want that center tray console!

The center console looks the same as mine in the 12 si
 
i still love my 2012, but i do love the 2013s new interior, much much much sexier... i never could under stand hondas approach on the fugly grill..... everyone really needs to do the SI grill, much much much better... easy cheap switch.... the exterior is much classier tho. but a 2012 with a color matched modulo kit in my opinion is much sportier.... as far as ride went in the 12's, i loved the ride.... its got a luxury class feel to it.. until i put 18s on her...... but i am glad for most consumers to have a stiffer ride, does feel like ur more in control of your car....

I completly agree i think the 13 si is sexy and i love the carbon fiber look in the dash.
 
Also, I did look at the 2013 model out on the showroom floor while walking towards the service parts department. Not bad looking car. Although not crazy about the large honeycomb front grill. Made me wonder about the little rocks damaging the AC condenser. I did like the thicker windshield as roads here are terrible. Always small chips in the glass and eventually one did crack on my old 2009 CRV. I had to get it replaced before I traded the car in for my 2012 Hybrid.
 
So kinda irritated w/ the model refresh, I seen a sunburst orange coupe identical to mine with the new interior & it made me super jealy. Did not like the wheels at all, I don't like the 12 wheels much either but these are straight ugly.. Like a hybrid of the stockies & the HFP..
 
I didn't personally see the lx, the sales guy told me it was around somewhere when I was looking at the Si..
 
And then you pointed at your car, and told him to drool at your sweet suspension setup? :)
