2013 Honda Civic Redesign Info - Updates Inside

Only reason I went is cause the dealer sent me "we need pre-owned Hondas" email & it was on the list I could trade in for but I can't see myself carrying over money for a identical car w/ nicer interior, though it did have navi which I originally wanted it but didn't want to wait for..

They don't have the pictures up yet but go to hondaeastcincy.com, they show em listed as in stock..

BTW I noticed that all 8th gen civic sedan models sold in europe had auto climate control whereas in US this was not the case. The same is with the "2012" civic sedan

It's because the US dollar is now totally in the crapper. I remember when every foreign car sold here had the best that foreign manufacturer had to offer, just get those dollars. Just the opposite now. It's a shame, but so be it.

What are you looking for...? I'm confused

I just figured someone would've done a review or something on it since it released last month.

I personally don't think that dollar is the one to blame. Civics are built in USA, not in a foreign country, so there's no currency exchange...

:sadwavey: ... you know what you're replacing it with?

You may have a point. I'm pretty sure my Si was made in Canada, but it doesn't matter. I focused my post on the foreign car makers' fitment of their cars for markets other than ours. USA is treated differently than it was when the dollar was much more desireable. Besides, even if we assume a given foreign car is put together here, it wouldn't change any part of what I said. There's lots of currency exchange going on in the making of a car in a foreign country . . . in this case the USA is the foreign country. How much of the car is domestic product?

But look, I could see this thread going off the rails. So let me say that it could be that I have jumped the gun and the dollar is not be to blame. :usa:

I sent an email to my local dealer. Hoping to get a first look and, if the numbers work out, I may trade into it -- only because it's cheaper to go into this than put an lsd. Only problem is that I'm not sure if I want the "boy-racer" image -- I'm 26, after all.
