You have to hook up a Canceler and a relay to the Fog's but other than that everything works fine and doesn't take that long to install.

Thanks for your reply! im going to try and hook mines up this weekend. i got 3k fog color but after seeing yours, im diggin the white fog color. i might have to copy you =X

That's fine lol I don't mind. I got 6k in mine but it looks like 8k bc of the bluish color that comes from them.

How are you liking the takeda intake. I just got one and have not installed it yet.

Anyone trying to do the HID's with high beams you can forget it. I have done everything I can to bypass the DRL code and its impossible. I finally got fed up with it and just pulled the fuse. I hook another wiring harness to them to see if it would bypass the code but nothing is working. I would like to have HID DRL's but I guess that is not going to happen. SO therefor I just won't have DRL's at all. Anyone have an answer to this please inform.

AlienPrime ADExternal Ideas?

The high beam is your drl running on lower power. You will really shorten the life of the bulbs/ballasts trying to run hids in the high beams because it takes a while for them to ignite/warm up. Flashing them/turning them on/off is going to kill the bulbs and ballasts faster. You can pull the fuse on the drl and just have hids in the high beams. It's still going to hurt their lifespan though.

lol.... #1nothing is impossible

#2, you can attach a relay without removing the wiring harness or pulling the fuse. from there you'll need to calculate the resistance and match it with the proper sized resistor. You won't need to worry about the HID's coming on at that point because light before, the volatge drop will still be the same and will not be sufficient to turn on the HID's.
#3, it's not working because your power is fed from a difference source... lol therefore different SOURCE of power hahaha
#4, if you still want to have DRL's AND have highbeams all in the 9005 socket housing, you'll still end up driving around with highbeams on all the time (lame IMO)

Another alternative is using LED bulbs for the daytime lights. The only problem is that you won't be able to use the high beams.

Have you tried bi-xenon HIDs?
