As long as you drive responsibly and don't try and be superman there will be no reason to make your mom freak out. The roads aren't that bad. Don't succumb to any peer pressure and just enjoy yourself!
When on the dragon itself if you feel uncomfortable with the pace of others behind, pull over and let them through
