so I just read online this comes with a 1.8?? are they talking about the r18 motor ? but i saw it comes with a 6 speed transmission...the r18s over there are 6 speed and not 5?

The Type-S is like the EX Civic, I believe. The FN2 Type-R has a K20 which makes 197hp. I'm not sure if it's the same as the K20Z3 from the 06-11 Si.
