if you don't plan on using your stock wheels again, you can just have the shop swap those sensors into the new wheels. they don't need to be calibrated or anything for the new wheels, as long as the new setup runs the same about the same psi. from my experience, i believe the range is around 25-40psi. anything above or below that and you'll get warnings about tire pressure.
They're 235/45/17 Toyo R1R's on a 17x8 setup. They've had one autocross session on them and they came from a friend, so I couldn't pass up the deal.TPMS ...... yet another reason to be in Canada .... what a pain in the butt ..... loving how wide those tires are. what is the size if you don't mind me asking?
I said the same thing when I saw something on Tire Rack about it...I've never owned anything this new. I was quickly reminded why I never tore apart new cars. Hopefully I can buy my friend's EF shell and toss my old GSR setup into it. If that happens, I'll leave my 9th gen alone...whatever that meansWhat's TPMS?

another sad truth..... i do feel bad for you poor americans how you got that one forced on you... all stemming from those ford explorers with the bad firestone tires... and they werent over or under inflated, they were just flawed tires... im curious tho, does it always give an annoying warning if you dont have TPMS valve stems installed? or does it just not allow you to turn your vehicle stability off? i never ever turn my vehicle stability off anyways...
