bootyluvr's 2015 Honda Accord EX-L V6 Sedan

Oh man.. had no idea my lover had a build thread

:sadwavey:

I’ve never used that uv spray before. You’ll have to report back later on how it performs.

Need to have my Evo Headlamps restored. Scared to do it myself since a new set is like $1500 at this point. Was thinking about using the Cerakote stuff since it’s a series of wipes and what not.

After sanding
After spraying the Meguiars

wow, how much time did you have to put into it?

If you’ve never done it, it’s seriously not bad. It’s even easier if you have a polisher. A neighbor just recently asked me where he should order replacement headlights. I went over to take a look at the “issues” he said they had. He said he had done a “headlight restore kit” from a box about a year ago and it went yellow and fogged like a month later.

(ignore tape falling off. I forgot to take a “finished” pic on that side when neighbor asked how it was going in the midst of tape removal. )

Applied some chemical guys UV protectant and then 2 coats of wax on top of that. Should be good for 6-12 months without needing some more UV protectant.

thats not bad, been debating just putting new lights on my brothers car, his lights are pretty much uniform yellow

So I slack on the washing/cleaning the inside of the Accord.. :hiding: I'll admit the inside was pretty bad.

My buddy (who has detailed all of my vehicles - he does it here and there for friends/family - keeps his cars immaculate) detailed my Accord yesterday.

He said "Booty (aKa Jeff) this is probably the worst (inside) that I've seen your Accord"

Le sigh

Here are some pictures he sent me of the after.

Oh PS: I don't do tire shine. I hate it. He knows me well and doesn't put it on there. He's not a fan either.
