Clash of Clans

I am laying low with upgrades. Plan is to max everything out before upgrading the Town Hall and Clan Castle. I am stuck in an in between spot where it is tough to successfully attack and defend right now. :confused:
 
I do. Don't like being a glutton and using them for attacking though.
 
Can you donate upgraded walls instead? Damn things are expensive!
 
Still finishing the upgrade from level 3 to 4 at 10k each.
 
Yeah, invaders make really short work of them.
 
Storages are maxed out. 2 of 3 barracks are maxed. Mines and elixir collectors are at level 8 or 9. Camps could be upgraded one more level. Most troops are maxed too.

I really need to go up a Town Hall level to get more walls at this point.
 
I think you need to move your resource holders around the CC in the middle. keep the mortar central and the the air defense.
Take a peek at mine, I know you don't have as many walls, etc...but just for an idea

Yeah, I am just biding my time for now until I get more walls.
 
Plus, the goal is to delay the attackers so they cannot destroy everything. If you put the defenses outside of the resources, they get attacked first giving them less time to eliminate all of the attackers. Just a bit of a balancing act.
 
Upgrade the clan castle ASAP. That building has the highest potential for damage per second out of any defensive building.. and yes, upgrade those walls. I'm at a really slow pace with my walls.. 500k per section... next level will be 1 million per section. Yep.. they make progress considerably harder as you get towards the top. Purple walls hit the best value for performance mark, so you should strive to have those once your town hall makes them available.
 
Upgrading TH to level 6 as we speak. Everything is maxed for a level 5 TH except for some walls and gold/elixir production...and a 1,000,000 elixir spell upgrade.
 
You're clever to wait until everything is maxed before upgrading. You get half as much loot at higher town hall levels (although you can go up in trophies easier and find good payouts still). A lot of people forget to do their walls.. I wouldn't upgrade town halls below 7 unless your walls are maxed out... once you hit TH8, purple walls are probably good enough for most situations.
