Do you know how to install HiD light?

Hi all, i would like to know if some person dont know how to install HiD kit i can make a DIY for them!

ok Hi all! i will show you in this tread how to install HiD kit without removing bumper and head light!

sorry for the long picture post!

First you will need the tools!

Rachet+10mm bolt remover
Tierap(at least 4)
Philips screw driver( the star one)
electric tape ( if needed)


and the most important... the PATIANCE...

The kit you need will be the 9006 (in that one i put 10000k)

And maybe a fresh coffee befor starting( not necessary)

1-first step find were are your light holes

2-after that turn the plug to the left to take them off

3-remove the light off the plugView attachment 4216View attachment 4217

4- assemblie all the kit together and fit the light inside

5-remove the cover and insert the hid lightbulb inside de headlight

6-connect the power wire with the ballast plug

6-tierap it very firmly to the frame


7- test your hid light


8-do the same thing for the right one, exept remove the bolt that hold the battery(if you have no room to for you hand to reach the light)


9-plug and play your hid ballast to the light to the power plug

10-dont forget to firmly tierap it to the frame

after that enjoy your work!




hope that can help you for the installation!

it will take about 30min to do it.. or max 1h. but when you know how to do it... it take 15min!

10,000K? you're crazy. Lol. :P

Installing HIDs is pretty easy. It's like installing a halogen bulb, but there is an additional connection in between. Some pics don't work, but this DIY will surely help other members on here.

yes please fix the pics!! that would greatly be appreciated. i have no electrical knowledge at all and just got my set in and this is the only thread i've found that shows installing HIDs this in-depth
