Gas Prices - what are they where you live now

wait... your gas stays at a constant price for 2 weeks, and then updates to a new price for 2 more weeks?
Yes, it is provincially regulated. There is always a maximum and minimum price that you are allowed to sell it at based on the value of crude oil or something at the moment and then the price is frozen for a certain amount of time. It changes every 2nd Wednesday at midnight (or maybe it is every Wednesday, so once a week instead of every 2... as you can see I don't pay attention like I should). It eliminates gas wars (sadly) but also eliminates gas mark-ups for no reason. I don't know if every province runs it this way but New Brunswick does.

$3.55 reg SW Va.(usually Shell, or other name brand)
Big jump today, it's because of all the oil we "don't" drill for in the gulf that's getting hammered from the hurricane.

I went to a "cheap" gas station. $4.05 for a 92........

Terrible idea.
