How to make your car slow

Ha ha Mike....:turbopokesmiley:nice one
Agree with almost all that you said ....I'm thinking a small drop could improve speed though.

handling you mean? possibly aerodynamics too depending on the rest of the car which in turn may also improve mpg depending if the aero and drop is right on the money.

I think he did mean speed. Less drag = quicker car. It's been proven by Eibach.

Looking at most wheels on tire rack, looks to be around a 2-3 pound penalty going from 17" to 18".

I'd like to know what settings for on track racing at high speed tracks, toe/camber(front/rear); ride ht.(F/R) how far off ground; roll bars F/R (1 soft / 10 hard)????????? For my McLaren(Game)

I think this is for reality but games tend to inspire from reality. iRacing forums are also a good source for car setup choices.

In my experience I found i have to experiment a lot and find a setting I like for my style. Drifting setups are way different than clean race line racing though so it depends on what you're after.

But all this will make your car faster ;)

Great link........ THANKS
I know for example that the front wheels need some toe-in and the wheels also need a little bit of out side camber, but how much toe in before it starts slowing the car down, among other things is what I'm looking for.
I've been doing it by feel, and watching the car on replays, and have gotten it working well enough(pat on back), but being one to always improve, this link should provide the info I need, far better than one set of numbers, so thx again. I have bookmarked it for reference, and will read it now for the 1st time.

So far I've earned enough credits for my beginner car to be fully moded(Mazda); Then the same with my McLaren(200,000 cd.); My Citron off road(850,000 cd.); and now have 1,000,000 cr. in the bank, not sure what I want to buy next.

Doing the side tests will get you some nice cars, random ones though. Either wise follow the flow of the game you will need some cars at some points or just go as your heart desires :) The online events also have pretty serious prizes but for most you need more expensive cars but not always. I tend to buy them all since I like them all :)
