If you have D2 Coilovers...

Oh yeah and I put the 8th gen rear isolators in the rears. I also noticed the spring were too big so since I had a pair of them laying around i just went ahead and used them.

Nice...I have th sway bar hooked kinda in the back so the wheels dont hit the link...i foudn that it was rubbing the tires and wheel the way it was installed so i just moved everything back a little. Ill check on mf my videos to see if it shows how the link is and ill take a pic. and did the rear isolators work for you? my buddy had to run them as well and D2 told me that the only way those had to be ran is if I bought the 8thgen coilovers....buuuuutt i bought the 9th gen ones so we'll see what they say about that. but yeah, how much did those help you?

heres the car after the fabrications and isntall....everything runs fine and the ride is great..

Looks awesome! Are those Battles? What offset are you running?

Yeah the 8th rear isolators fit perfectly snug on the top of the rear D2 springs and keeps it secure. It hasnt shifted from what I can see.

They ride great huh? On my last set of coilovers on a different car I would cringe before i hit a bump or pothole.

Im currently maxed out in the rears and got the fronts leveled along with it. Im itchin to take out a perch though. I like mooaaar low. ;)

these are Varrstoens 220. 17x9.5 +30 with 205/40s on them.
And yeah I have them just below the medium stifness on them and i dont feel hardly anything. In the rear im running only a locking ring, no perch lol. thats why i was asking about the rear isolators cuz id like to run nothing but as of now i like how its set up

Do you know if 17x9 +25 on 215/40 would fit without any camber adjustments? Actually are you running any camber kits at all? Rubbing? Im still on stock 16's on my EX :(

Im running an EMUSA rear camber kit for an 8thgen but they work on the 9ths and it was only 118 shipped...when i instaled them on the car i set them to stock settings with the locking ring and when i dropped it i didnt have to adjust it at all...its set at stock right now. the only time I rub anything is when i hit a bump hard enought and its actually my wheel hitting the fenders, not the tires. a x9 +25 on a 215/40 slightly and depending how low you go. Im running 205s so im not running into any issues and i didnt even roll/shave fenders at all. I still have my front fender line intact with no rubs on it. To avoid the rubbing i would run 205s, but its all about preference also

OK all, sorry for the delay on this topic but we FINALLY traced down the problem. It was a headache as there have been quite a few of these sold and only a few with problems.

There were a few sets that had the front upper mounts machined incorrectly from the factory, we have the correct mounts in production and the ETA is ~ 3 weeks. If you feel you have a set of the incorrect mounts, please email us at info@d2racing.com and we will resolve the issue for you.

Thank you all for your understanding as well as the support from this forum/community in helping to resolve the issue!

Glad to hear this news, and know that I'm not crazy..especially after receiving messages and such about my "whining" and "bashing" for this issue.
I guess I should be expecting an email from you guys at D2 about this? Let me know :) And again, I'm glad to hear the news and that its getting fixed.

Well thank you guys, truely, for your concern with this situation instead of blowing it off. I wish most companies would put forth the time and effort to correct certain things and make the situation right! You guys definitely will have my future business no doubt!

Just emailed D2 regarding my concerns as well. Glad theyre putting in the effort and time to reach out to their customers

Just got my D2s and have the same issue. .......awesome. Hey D2, you said many have been sold and few with this issue. Did you ever think that maybe some people don't realize they're installed wrong and haven't reported it? I'm willing to bet every kit has this issue.

No wonder the D2 kit was the only brand left in stock.

Can I ask why such the attitude? Pardon me if I am misunderstanding, but from this comment and your email you come off a little harsh. I would hope any knowledgeable mechanic or customer would see the issue when either the install was attempted or when the car was aligned.

Things get messed up from time to time and people make mistakes. We are correcting the issue as quickly as possible. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

D2Racing, any updates on the production of the revised plates and the ETA we will receive them?

They are still in production, as soon as we have the tracking # for the air freight shipment we can give a firm date. Thanks for your continued patience.

Are there going to be any changes to the rear springs? I have to re-adjust mine every few days so they stop sliding around. I just ordered my 8thgen rear isolaters for them to avoid this issue, but sill concerned that they will still be sort of a problem. If you guys find a solution to that, PLEASE PLEASE let us know!
Thanks D2!
