Mother Of All Whore Threads Non-VIP Edition v.1

What the humidex temp where you are? Past few days has been up to 40c here. Cooled down just in time for the weekend when I'm not working. We have our hot tub at 94f but with the heat usually stays at 97.

Shot and a half of vodka. Splash of orange juice and then soda water from my SodaStream.

Yesterday was 98F (37C?) before the heat index (humidity). With the heat index it was 114F (46C).
Currently it's 91F (33C) and 101F (38C) with the heat index...

It's only 25C (77F) there now?! Damn! I'm jealous.

Drink sounds good but I don't do soda :/

Got me beat on humidty. I thought 40 was hot.

Don't like soda water? It's just carbonated water ,no sugar.

Never tried to make my own soda water... But wife gave up drinking soda (she loves Coke) for Lent (religious thing) a few years ago so to not be a dick I didn't drink it either. And I never went back to drinking it after Lent was over.

I usually drink water (especially at work) or tea (hot in the morning / cold maybe with dinner) and not much sugar.

Pulled weeds all afternoon

Damn. My wife does that.

Oh. Yeah I don't drink pop. Soda water is literally carbonated water with no added flavour. They do sell it with flavour but usually still has no sugar. Bubley is probably the biggest one.

SodaStream uses CO2 canisters so you can carbonate it yourself.

my friend sends me laundry lists of products to put down that are supposed to prevent weeds. I'm just starting to try to control a long neglected lawn but his is 99% weed free

I use killex. Supposed to be banned in my province so I had to buy and ship it from another. Works great.

We can get free chemicals from the county actually. It’s a concentrate mix they offer you dilute in a sprayer. It’s made to kill a list of invasive weeds that take over areas of land that aren’t grass. It does well, but it’s not easy to hit everything with a backpack sprayer while walking through rough land.

Belt moldings on the passenger side are cracking!!

Ive noticed my brothers 2012 has this going on pretty bad, always assumed it was because he completely neglects and abuses the car

might have to look into that if my current products dont get the bad stuff under control

i wish they did that here, im battling japanese knotweed and english ivy with slow success, but im trying to keep the spray really localized to the plants.

That stuff is horrible to eradicate from what I’ve seen. I don’t know what you’ve been using, but you could look for some “2, 4-d” in concentrate at tractor supply or home centers. It doesn’t take much per gallon of water, but may take numerous applications to completely kill it off. I’ve even seen some say they used needles to inject it directly into the stems of the plant to kill it off.

you can get it in much larger quanties (I have 2.5 gallons), but it literally takes like 5 ounces of 2, 4-d per 4 gallons of water or something if I remember right. It can be mixed in a bunch of strengths depending on its use on lawns, plants, crops etc. It’s pretty strong stuff.

mine were in terrible shape when I bought it!

Anyone else have a buzzing sound with the AC on? Sounds like maybe something in the blend door behind the dash, it’s been driving me crazy

currently diluting down from a gallon jug of 47% glyphosate, takes about 2 weeks from application but seems to be good for localized killing
