So you put your remote start fob in the safe without playing with it first? You didn’t touch all the buttons and pull all the levers before getting into a comfortable groove?

Shame

Time to slap that wife for you missing out on this and getting into a hot/cold car all these years.

I’m joking of course….but maybe a snap in the booty, lol

Did you buy the car new? I’m guessing it was an option on most trims and maybe standard on the highest trim.

I don't believe I put the spare Accord key in the safe.. Think the wife did when we got home from the dealership... I don't remember it was in 2017.
I adjusted the seats (set the memory to remember it), messed with the radio/bluetooth, added my phone and that's pretty much it back then lol

Hey at least it works!!

^ Yeah that's what she said lol

Few years back I had my buddy install an aftermarket remote start on the wife's car and was going to get one for mine but said I'm fine with going to warm it up lol Little did I know.. my Accord had it already.. smh

I did not buy the car brand new. It's a 2015 Accord EX-L V6 Sedan. I bought it in November 2017 with 21k miles. It was 2 years old at that time. It was a CPO.

I traded in my '15 WRX Limited for it. Actually the trade-in paid for the Accord + taxes/fees and they actually gave me a bit back (not much).

damn, put your checks in a safe?? lol merica. what does she use checks for???

so on my way to the city for training i walked my wife through starting the pool pump for the first time as the pool company owner came by today to shock it and fill it up. got it started, as my wife was walking away (face time) i told her to check the shed and make sure theres no leaks. so she went back and i guess it was leaking out of every fitting. not very surprised, thats about how the entire install has been going.

That sucks. You’ve had so many issues with the pool. Did they leave before checking the fittings? Did they fix it, or do they have to come back?

guy came by , shocked the pool, put the skimmer stuff together and put our hose in to fill it the rest of the way then left. my wife called him out on all the stuff they put us threw, told him the cement guy that contracted to do our work threw him under the bus on how low the pool was. i told him it was leaking and he said he would be back to fix it. i assume and truly hope he meant he would be back today.

Oh thats obnoxious, no wonder it ended up in the safe. I wonder if anyones managed to get the acura fob to work

So it is a Honda factory accesory then....right? Do you think it was added on at the time the original owner purchased it?

So not a seperate control/remote like @ethlar was wondering about. Meaning not an aftermarket remote starter that has a remote just to start the car and nothing else.
