Hahaha. When I bought my house in 2015, property taxes were $3,300.

But yea, housing is prohibitively expensive. You can get into my house for a cool million bucks. It’s a whopping 1700 sq ft, 3 bed house on a small lot.

Maybe, in more sane markets its not so bad to buy, my mortgage is lower than a lot of my friends rent in Philly now

That's about the size of my house and we are on a corner lot.. my house comes in at about $250-$300

Oh well. I have to count my blessings that we can afford to live where we do, have jobs that make us happy and comfortable.
