Home from the gym :woot:
 
Been having an issue with the new water heater. Every time the water shuts off, it bangs like metal on metal. Turns out that it was an unsupported pipe that was moving when the water shut off and it was slapping into the side of the unit.

Add a pipe hanger to the wall and voila, no more banging sound. And here we thought it was a valve slapping shut or a water hammer.
 
Hi everyone!

Long story short -- I found a place to stay very close to work. It's an apartment after a lot of agonizing over homeownership.

...I don't think I'm ready for a house just yet after talking to a host of people. However, I am excited to move out of the woods, finally.
 
Living in the woods sounds kinda nice, but I hate city living
 
give me woods that are near enough to a city i can run into whenever i want and im happy

and ill probably almost never go into the city, i just like knowing i can
 
@FooBird might have to reconsider that Audi order….

Audi would be cheaper. But we’ll see…what the wait is for the Audi. It’s been on order 3 weeks and I want it tomorrow. It’s gonna be a tough wait.
 
Anybody have a good recommendation for new rear sway bushings for a 22 mm bar?

Guys with 22mm rear sway bars... Bushing Upgrade

If anyone has the progress bar or is thinking about getting one there are greaseable sway bar bushings available from energy suspension. These fit on the rear bar only, fit on the 8th gen, and since the sway bar is interchangeable these should be also. At around $15 it is a fairly inexpensive...
