Mother Of All Whore Threads Non-VIP Edition v.1

...Well, I don't wanna trauma dump too hard, but on Sunday I ...kinda watched a friend die from a heart attack.

Having seen that, I now irrationally also think I'm going to have a heart attack when I replay the paramedics doing chest compressions on him in my head...and then hearing his mom's screams when that didn't revive him.

I start shaking randomly during the day, even when I'm not thinking about it, and my heart won't stop racing. I hate this, but I know it's just a trauma response.

It also doesn't help that I just...miss my friend. We didn't even get to talk Sunday.
 
@Honda-Fan Im sorry for your loss, i cant imagine being in the room and experiencing that. Trauma and loss are no joke and can pop up on you in strange ways, definitely no shame in "dumping" it here or however works best for you to get yourself situated
 
@Honda-Fan sorry to hear about your friends passing. It's tough....and it tends to stick with you. I can still hear my dad's last breath as he was at home doing hospice the last couple months. We are all hear for you to talk to or just vent.

I'm in completely uncharted territory for how I feel right now, but I have some solace knowing there are people who understand.

Had a nice lunch with the wife and picked up our pottery we did a month or two ago. It was glazed a few weeks ago and could pick it up.
Then went to Lowe's (my least favorite store...) to get top soil, seed and straw. Since we had a tree removed in our front yard they stump grinded it and also the roots so basically our front yard was complete dirt.
Came home and helped the wife put down the top soil, seed and straw then watered it.
 
Off towards Italy today. Land in the most awful airport - Newark to catch flight to Venice.
 
Went to look at a 1st gen crv for $900. It was actually decent. Needed a new rad. I let it go because I don't need another car. Wish it came up before I bought the forester.

Went to a block party last night. Forgot I had ribs on the smoker until 10 minutes after I got into bed. They turned out great.
