but 120k salary
Sounds like they're overworked and underpaid. @Honda-Fan is right, they're on borrowed time. Rare do I cuss a car more than when working on a Ford.

and the mechanic prob does not have to own a Ford. Soooooooo I don't see an issue.

Is there a dealer close to me that will pay me the $120k with no experience? lol

I think that depends on the typical factors, location, experience, certifications, etc.; and I didn't interpret the $120k salary as the entry level pay (I thought it was a median rate). But, I know full time mechanics that make a healthy amount more than that. Regardless, while there is a national shortage on skilled labor, I think there are more problems than that when it comes to working for some companies; management is potentially a big part of that. And, while they're flaunting $120k to get skilled labor, it isn't enough to make me even want to work on a Ford unless I had to.

HI BOOTY

Sounds like they're overworked and underpaid.
This is correct.

Alright, so to clarify -- these jobs actually have salaries that pay up to 120K. While that is a good amount of money to work on junker Fords, Jim Farley even admits that it would take at the very least 5 years of training to even qualify for any of them -- with no guarantee for any of the high-end 120K positions, however many of those there actually are. So this is starting to feel like the average CEO bait-and-switch.

No telling how much actual experience they want for those prized six-figure spots; That'd be interesting to see. I bet by the time you qualify for that, you could easily make more somewhere else.

Drove the ITS today despite it being cool and damp. Came off a corner and she started to walk on me.

Front says not so fast and butt says not fast enough. Experienced that eerie feeling if slip friction instead of rolling friction momentarily.

No harm. No foul. Just a little excitement. But she’s probably done for the year as it’s too cold and wet for the rubber.

didnt read all of this but 120k is probably top dollar. thats about what i make.
also its best to work on the shitty american brands, they break more often.

You make $120k and bought a $1M house . . . ? I make a significant amount more than that (with 3 combined sources of income) and my house wasn't but a little more than half that (and I still feel like I'm barely getting by . . . it's fooking weird).

well. convert 120k to cnd. and it was a 1.3m house.
my wife makes good money as a hair stylist as well. we rent the cottage to my wifes mom for a couple thousand a month. im also not sure how we managed to get a bank to give us a mortgage. our payment after cottage rent is $2800.

$120k USD = $169,125.60 CAD
Say the wife makes more... We will say $175k CAD
So roughly $350k CAD combined before taxed.

House cost $1.3M CAD = $922,391.41 USD - so basically $1m USD

House Payment is $2,800 CAD ($1986 USD) or $2800 USD ($3,946.26 CAD)?

I feel like anything you say is in CAD and I have to convert it. Correct?

The way I interpreted his response was the house payment was $2800 after he collected rent from his mother-in-law for the cottage (so, $2800 was the difference he pays out of pocket). So, the $1M mortgage should be higher if it is a standard fixed price 30yr mortgage.

wife makes more but not a year. she will probably do 80k this year. she works part time, usually makes more than i do in a day is what i meant. and yes, everything i say is cnd. we also put 25% down.
and yes, my mortgage payment is $4800. my first house was under #$700.

My prime membership expires tomorrow. Do I renew or finally say goodbye? I'm really looking forward to some black Friday deals as I need some stuff and i know the deals are better with the membership.
