NBA Thread

If you look at the vid w/ Chris Bosh, it looked like he got hit by a car. He was 10-12 feet away from contact.

I suppose.

The organization likes to spoon feed Miami though.

Recaps from last night's flops:

Ginobili's arm extended, but it didn't touch Battier. Battier flops.

Chris Bosh gets boxed out. He flops. :pat:

Boxing out is a fundamental move. And that move came from Mr. Fundamentals himself...

And of course there's no news about getting fined. LeBron was the only Heat fined in the Playoffs. That's because a couple of Pacers flopped with him in the last series. If a Spur flopped with Battier and Bosh last game, the fines would have been given out instantly.

Bosh was finally fined for the flop.

That's good to know. But I still find a $5,000 fine too low for these players, especially the top paid ones. NBA should seriously bump it up to $25,000 or more so the art of flopping would disappear.

You should lose pay for 3 games if you flop. Figure that by (salary/82)*3 and that's how much you are fined. That **** will stop quick

So, I guess what your saying is suspend a player for 3 games without pay after being caught flopping a couple times. Makes sense to me. I like the idea.

T-Mac should go in on the last 33 seconds of the game tonight. He's Mr. '13 points in 33 seconds'. :giggle:

Green ties Allen on most 3-pointers in a finals game! Green definitely has a much better fg percentage.

And Green breaks the record - with still at least 1 game more to play.

Danny Green is easily my favorite player in the NBA. His resilience and commitment to improving his game are unbelievable. He's as hard working as anyone you'll find in the NBA. It's definitely paying off for him.

WOW...what a game! S A is on fire....blocks everywhere and they're making everything. Why doesn't that bird guy play?

As much as I likeed Ray Allen (until he went to the Heat).

I'm very surprised about Green's performance. It's unbelievable. His FG% is definitely much much higher when he hit 22 3-pointers.

I give tonight's game's credit to Ginobili thought. He stepped up tonight.
