Need help after RBC swap.

@Flippercon would also like to remind people not to get the 2 coolant lines and 2 vacuum lines confused lol
That was not a problem this time. He had a takeda Sri and didn't have coupler to compensate for the tb moving. Had to make runs to part store. Then we forgot about the Honda bond for the plug. So we took another trip. The oem intake mani, runners and fuel rail we off and rbc back in after 2 hours. The lack of parts and light is what held us up.

That reminds me. I used thread/teflon tape after I noticed mine was pooling. I haven't checked it since...

2hrs sounds about right. Times like this we need our shop! :dancing:

Lol, her top is up, but I do my best work when they are naked.

May I suggest some body paint!

Wow, I need to update that picture. Wires have been fixed as well as the placement of the intake.

It moves like I said. It will rattle like a sob if not in the right spot. Did you remove the pegs that held the stock airbox in?

Sure did. No rattling noise now...except when I stomp on the gas pedal. Awesome mean growl to it! :D

At least you guys don't risk your shift mechanism slamming into your CAI like me lol

As much as I would have preferred a CAI, I have just not been thrilled with any of the designs. Most of them seem quickly designed and forced.

Your not kidding. He has a injen Cai. We had problems with the shift mechanism hitting the intake in 3rd and 5th. Had to make adjustments to make it work.

I like the ric spec'd with battery relocation kit. Not true true cai, but real close as it pulls air from behind left headlight, sitting on the opened up resonator piece. IATs over the K&N typhoon I had are night and day. The ric spec'd was a blem kit, complete w/bat relocate for $199 shipped and I spent another $45 on a PRL Stainless Steel clutch line from the left fender all the way to the slave cylinder, running to the side of the battery tray.

BTW I have a RBC from PRL on the way, bored for oem injectors, with the PRL RBC adapter, PRL tb spacer for oem tb, and hoses. I am wondering if I will likely get hp gains without changing my downpipe. I have stock exhaust. My only engine mods are just 3.5 in intake, p2r tbs and vit tune for those items.
