Nomars slow Type R build

Did they ever get back to you on the fittings?
Yeah, they said it’s normal with the type of fitting they use. Couple other people said the same thing on the Type R groups.

Ordered some rear motor mount inserts and supplies for an oil change. Everything should be here by the weekend.

I think both could look good, but I’d be interested to see it in black since there are black accents on the rear of the car.

i think black would look good, white car, black accents down in that area already. Chrome exhaust isnt bad but that center 3 pipe setup is just odd to me

Did the exhaust install today. Right at 3 hours of work time. Waaaaaay too much crawling on the ground for this old guy. No lift = work on jack stands.

I put the front on ramps and went to lift the rear and my old trusty jack crapped out on me. Ran to harbor freight and had to buy a new jack. Not the way you want to start an install, lol. The old jack was prob 20 years old or more.

All worth it in the end….

I didn't see your message till late with the vids. Sounds like it's added some bass and some rumble. Sounded nice while driving without being obnoxious :cheerleader:

Added an exhaust?

...It's only a matter of time, now. :lildevil:
