MD Gun laws are strict but the wife won't go for me having an AR.... She doesn't even know why I want the M&P 15-22.

"That gun looks scary" :rolleyes:

the M&P 15-22 vs a bolt dropped into a full AR, at least on the full AR you have the option of going up to a 5.56/.223, guns gonna look the same either way

Id say go the AR-22 caliber route, the M&P15-22 did have problems with the bolt shearing rounds and people ending up with shrapnel in them about 4-5 months ago. People were pushing for a recall but most just sent there's in and got new bolts then they were fine just a Fyi. The M&P 15/22 and the Mossberg 715 both have jamming issues (what rimfire gun doesn't that's semi auto) but its more rampant in both of those, you could always go Ruger 10/22 with a Archangel stock.

Do you want something that shoots bigger round or just something for target practice? I think the 22 we have is nice and easy to use. It's rimfire but haven't had one jam in about 2500 rounds so far.

Beretta ARX-160

I have a concealed carry permit and own

Glock 42 (380) for my concealed carry. Few modifications done to it. Including lowering the trigger pull from 5.5 pounds to 3.5 pounds. Other modifications will be posted later with the picture of it. (Not near me right now).

I also own the Smith and Wesson SD9 VE. (9mm). Nothing done to it, love the way it shoots and feels as is. Yes there are two types of ammo. I'm sure you can tell which is for protection and which is for the range. Pictured below. IMG_20170421_061850982.jpg

So I was bored and went and got my Glock. I highlighted all of the lettering and numbering on it and the clip (like the way it looks more). The plastic pins have been changed it with metal ones and the trigger mechanism as stated before has been changed out to drop the trigger pull from 5.5 pounds to 3.5 pounds. Put an extended mag release on it. Also put an extended slide lock on there as well. All pictured below. received_10155719020330319.jpeg received_10155717971035319.jpeg

Edit: @Monk was his name! :)

@k757 - not it wasn't you I was thinking of :P

have I missed this thread? I guess I don't ever look around.

I have 4 - two 380 and two 9 mm
2 S&W, 2 Ruger

These are my target guns, I don't hunt and have no desire to.

My Savage Mark II FXP (22LR) with a scope I found on Amazon lol, 10-40x50. Clarity is actually pretty damn decent. Only been to 200 yards with it, will be trying for 500 on Wednesday.

And my Savage Axis XP in .223, with a Cabela's Covenant 6-24x50 FFP scope.
