The wife and I were talking about this the other night. QBs get punished on their stats for what is an obvious catch mistake by the receiver.

Like when the ball hits the receivers hands or the ball goes through their hands. Still counts as an incomplete for the QB when he didn’t do anything wrong.

Yeah I agree. That throw was there. On point!
 
But when it happens enough times, obviously there’s something wrong in the deliverer.

Saw that with Drew Lock filling in for the Seahawks. He had a few good throws where the receiver missed it in his hands. A couple of inches or a couple of mph makes a difference for sure.
 
Shitty refs....I don't have any skin in the game but man, just horrible to see. Especially when it's that noticeable.

The second one on Kelce was meh but the other one was just sooooooo bad.
 
Gotta love sports! Even worse when it’s in college….
