Pics just installed my aero kit civic coupe

i

i went kazara ... black painted rims... altho i like the looks of machine front rims, got enkei's a few years back for my 7the gen civic, look awesome.. but after 4 years start to really break down, behind the clearcoat the machined part looks all corroded... and since my civics a 10+ year car, with being painted.. easy to repaint(and actually stick).... also i wanted to go the black and blue theme....i laffed soooooo hard when they honda changed the 2013 EX(now touring in Canada) rims... looks great, for the first few years.... but then again the factory rims work fine as winter rims... lol

Ron if you only lived closer by me, I would ask for your assistance in installing a body kit. You're doing a hella of a job man

awwwe you are so sweet bro, i feel so special now.... thanks... you'll do fine, its actually pretty straight forward, and its about $500 in the US since its free shipping for you... all you need is a heat gun, screwdriver and a drill...

woke up at 5am, chatted with my sweety until 6am, took 2 hours to install my BaysonR modulo side skirts and rear lip... wasnt bad... not perfect, but hey fit pretty good for an eBay special.... later(when its light out) i'll go take some pics... :) so far looks nice in the garage.... too bad the front and sides are glossy black and the rear is matte.... i think ill take a polishing wheel to everything later..... hehehe easier than painting... lol

They
turned out really good

well honestly blues a little tacky.. but i think it would look out of place with red stripes, where as yours with red stripe on black rims on a red car would look killer bro .... :1:

Are you going to tint your windows too or is it not really needed in the area you live

Just my opinion but i think ur modulo kits would look better painted same as cars color. It looks good the way it is though. Keep up the nice work on it

i feel the same way.... in time bro.... i live on a small island of about 6k people, divided into 7 villages(not enough people to call towns) hahaha i live in a shanty town, no paint shops... even when i ordered my 2012 EX, after it came in, had to take a 1 hour drive to the ferry, 8hr ferry ride then the dealer picked me up, 2 hours later we got to the dealership... lol but no matter, i will either get the parts painted when i go off island nexttime, or just get some paint mixed and do it myself.... or get a good buddy who was a bodyman for 10 years for me, i kno he'd do it for me... but i need the paint first... maybe i'll just order it and have it shipped here.... probably the best thing i could do... but i do agree with u on painting it, its just complicated my friend... ;)

actually i love the look of tint outside the car... but i also have a 2001 DX, and its harder to backup in the night..... and after 8 years, the professional job went to crap on the rear window..... separating from the rear defrost elements, bubbles everywhere... lol i would like to give her a 70% all around tho.... i did buy some precut stuff off eBay, but dont think ill be installing.. kinda cheap junk to me... lol

Ic that sucks there is no body shops or anything there. 6k population is a very small town. Good luck with getting the paint done in the future. U need to get polyurethane paint probably since the bumpers flex and move at high speeds. Unless the kit you have is fiberglass then i think regular paint will hold up
