So a $3k-$5k raise last year and a $13k raise this year...
I'm in the wrong field/business...Typically we get about a 3% raise every year (that's what I received last year but a bit more a 2-3 years ago since I got a promotion) but it's no where near your raises.. damn I'm jealous! But

I'm in IT too.. I'm a Senior System Engineer
I'm a Desktop Technician. Most of our System Engineers get paid VERY well here. I would like their pay but I don't have the knowledge. (maybe eventually)

Saw my surgeon this morning, and he said everything looks great. So he gave me a signed letter giving permission to return to work. If all goes as planned, I will return next Monday, October 3.
