There are many around who smoke. I even walk in the morning with a friend who smokes while we walk. It all comes down to never putting a cigarette in your lips again.

I ended up with 2 unused weeks of vacation and they do not carry over to next year. There are two seperate women whose husbands had to go into the hospital, and both of them had leave work and used up all their vacation time in the process. Their last week will be unpaid.

So I talked to our HR department, and convinced them to give each of them one paid week using my time. I also asked that I remain anonymous.

They are going to be so excited to see their last paychecks will be a full week's pay.
