Post up your fish tanks/aquariums!

:)

I've been doing a lot of reading on it and the different methods everyone has done (some of which you've mentioned) and some people who have been fighting this stuff off for 6+ months! it's intense :\

Some older photos I managed to dig up.

My little albino is growing up fast. I think he might be a male...i see very tiny white spots where bristles would grow on his mouth...oh boy..lol I was hoping for a female..but I still love him.
I'll get you a pic of my current state >_<

Does it have a pinkish/reddish head?

^^^ Don't worry they are partying under there :turbospin:
The blackout helps a lot. Just be ready for a large water change when you pull the covers off. Did you take a before picture?

No, I'd taken some here and there previously...but it's really depressing and embarrassing. I guess the best of us will deal with it at some point...

Caught this one of Toby last night.

You can see enough of the mess there :pat: and in the last photos of Pinky

B.Louie has been a hyper little effer and just doesn't stay still. His fins constantly at the speed of hummingbird wings. I don't remember any of our other blue acaras being this hyper.

The plastic trash bags STINK horribly of plastic :|

I stopped with planted tanks because of the stress the algae put on me. Its the toughest tank to keep in the hobby. Some say its harder or just as hard as a reef tank. Just think of it as a freshwater reef.

I had such a hard time sleeping last night...between this horrible sinus infection and worrying about the fish tank.
I cheated late last night and used a flashlight quickly to spot the fish to make sure everything was okay. They looked fine so I went to bed..but still stressed LOL

Day 3. They're uncovered. Everything looks really good now. I saw a very tiny VERY faint green patch...I sucked it up with the siphon. Did a good cleaning and the fish are very happy to see the light again. The plants aren't too happy and the fish are all over them making things worse. My hydor koralia 425 nano will be here wednesday.
