Nope. It's in for Opti-Guard coating and leather protector....it will most likely still need a light polishing too though.

2012 Kia Optima Turbo, new car prep and Opti-Guard protection
This car belongs to a longtime client/friend of mine and he really wants to keep it better maintained then his previous vehicles. After explaining the options available to him he decided on Optimum’s Opti-Guard for the exterior and the Leather Masters duo on the interior. The overall condition of this vehicle was very good, having just over 5000 miles on it, but it did need a good claying and light polish. Given the condition and color of this vehicle I don’t have much for before pics…I actually debated even posting this one, but I kind of like the car and felt it was worth showing even if it was a cream puff job.
Process:
Wash – ONR
Wheels – Sonax Full Effect
Tires – Optimum Power Clean
Clay – Meguair’s Mild Clay with ONR as lube
Paint correction – Optimum (updated) Hyper Polish via GG6 equipped with 3” & 5” Optimum MF finishing pads
Paint Protection – Optimum Opti-Guard (Paint, trim, wheels, lights, jambs)
Glass – Meguiar’s D120
Interior – Quick vacuum, wipe down vinyl/dash with 1Z Premium Cockpit Cleaner, Leather Masters Strong Cleaner and Protection Cream on seats
Exhaust tips – Optimum Metal Polish
Before
Owner ran through a touch-less wash before he dropped it off…I told him to request his money back!!!
Black trim had significant marring but the paint itself was in great shape with only a few scratches here and there.
While I like the look of the front grill, it really is one of those grills that is a pain to clean. These were hand polished and then coated with Opti-Guard later.
New Optimum products arrived just in time.
My first go with the new Optimum MF pads
I’ve used various applicators for applying Opti-Guard now, but my favorite is definitely the CarPro micro sued applicators wrapped around the CarPro foam block.
On the door jambs and wheels the supplied foam applicator works best with all the crazy contours.
For the really intricate surfaces, like the front grill on this car, I like applying Opti-Guard via airbrush.
Much better and now cleaning should be a breeze!

surprised there is so much flake in the paint..
amazed you got the front grill to look that good. I can see that sucking to clean bug guts etc out of all the time.
that touchless wash suuuuucks! I'd avoid that place at all costs

It looked even better in person....lol, the owner didn't even know it had pearl in it.
I probably spent 45 minutes hand polishing that grill! With Opti-Guard on it now it should be a snap to clean with just the pressure washer...bugs won't stand a chance!
No idea what is up with that car wash...been there before myself and it has never come out like that....

LOL. I have not seen a single person that liked the wheels yet. I feel bad for the owner as I linked him to the thread on another forum and most of them commented on how bad the wheels look! 
I don't mind them but they could definitely be better.

lol.. have you not seen some of his previous work? Dirt keeps him in business!
I have seen his work.... My car is pretty clean minus the 85 trillion swirls and light scratches all over paint, not to mention the front of car which looks like I lost a battle to a pebble flinging machine... I just love Honda paint......not!!!!!

Where you located? I probably know of a reputable detailer in your area, or at least much closer.
I know of a good shop called Oakes Detailing near me... It's just getting my car there for 1 or 2 days

/\ I will be getting a hold of you in the spring/ early summer to book a time. Ill probably head down to do some shopping, and if i could drop the car off and get a good noce over from you, it would be amazing. your work is top notch, and probably worth the 9 hour drive. lol.

This car belongs to a new client of mine and it was in for a 2-step correction and interior detail. Overall it was in very good condition, as it should be for a newer car with less than 10k miles. However the car does and will continue to see full service washes so there was some light wash induced marring. Initial PTG readings on the car were also lower than what I've seen in the past with average readings only in the 110-120 micron range. After seeing this I called the owner and suggest we stay on the milder side rather than going for 100% correction, especially since it will continue to see full service washes this winter.
Given the color and condition of the car I was unable to capture the defects in the paint, but the general condition can be seen in the black trim. Interior was very clean too so pics are limited.
Process:
Wash - ONR
Tires - OPC
Wheels - Sonax Full Effect
Clay - Blackfire clay and ONR as lube
Paint correction step 1 - Updated Optimum Hyper Compound, GG6, MF cutting pad (Megs)
Paint correction step 2 - Updated Optimum Hyper Polish, GG6, LC tangerine foam pad (trim finished with Menz Micro Polish)
Glass - Megs D120
Interior vinyl - Cockpit Premium
Leather - Leather Masters Strong Cleaner/Protection Cream
Carpet/matts - Folex and LGM
Exhaust tips - Optimum Metal Polish
LSP - FK1000p (2 coats)

The only real concern area on the interior was the light colored leather seats as they were showing dirt buildup/dye transfer already.
