Squiggy's 2012 DBP II Si Coupe

I have alpine type R 6.5s, but I used a set of 1/2in spacer rings. We sell those for $13/set online. bestbuy.com

I was just looking at the mounting dimensions. They are the same as the shallow mounts. They just don't specify shallow in the description or model number (usually followed by an "s").

Honestly, the only speaker company I have seen that specifies "6501s" is Infinity. Most of the company's speakers I sell, don't list a shallow mount speaker. Kenwood sells flush-mounted speakers, which is unique

Not sure what the other companies do, but Polk uses the "s" to specify slim or shallow mount speakers.

Still waiting on the downpipe. Hopefully, I have a tag on the door today so I can reroute it and pick it up tomorrow.

I wish I had that much room in my garage...where's the other half of your downpipe?

Still connected to the mid-pipe hiding behind the car.

It is a two car garage. We can actually fit my wife's car in there too, but there is no garage door opener on that side.

Oh I see it now. Did you even try those bolts? I wish I did my exhaust and dp at the same time do that I wouldn't have had to undo them

I could only get the bottom one off. Impact wrench couldn't even get the other two off even after using PB Blaster...which reminds me, I think I need to reuse them. Crap!

I have breaker bars and pipes. That is not a problem. Change a timing belt on a Civic once and you will end up with plenty of leverage.

It will be installed tomorrow morning. Along with a freshly painted (red of course) spark plug cover, the new rear sway bar bushings, and the black lugs I recently picked up.

For oem Honda wheels? What black lug nuts did you go with? Only black lugs I've seen seated correctly are the S2000 CR/ NSX lugs
