I've seen this a while back. Pressure washer is a no no. Lol.

 you'd think you'd know not to put a pressure washer tip THAT close to the paint on your car!!! :pat:

yeah it wasn't too bad overall I guess. Just a couple spots. It was a lease too! Also the poor bastard got rear ended shortly after but... saved him cause all the paint damaged pieces got replaced/repainted.

I would never have that luck.. my luck I would replace or fix it all then get rear ended haha

I would see someone plasti-dipping a different color over an existing plasti-dip. That would be a different style of laziness. :giggle:

also look like the side skirts and rear bumper was painted before. and not prep and painted right. IMO
but he had to leave that plasti ip a long time. and why would you use a power washer that close?????
im only planing on keeping mine for a month or two

Have any of you guys seen the red plasti dip in person? If so is it bright or a normal red like the ambient lights?

Been looking for gunmetal grey for my wheels, but in a city as big as Houston, I couldn't find one retailer who carried that color. I eventually gave up and had my local Ace hardware order some for me. They also ordered smoke and a few other colors. The guy said he's been getting a lot of inquiries from people wanting it for their cars. At least I know my local Ace will have colors besides black and white now.

I saw a couple of those dipyourcar videos on Youtube and now i just wanna plasti dip everything! :excited: Since the rims I'm getting don't come in flat black, I think that's what I'm gonna do first

Just ordered the smoke, glossifier, and one of those nifty spray triggers so I can tint my lights. We'll see how this works out.

I'm interested to see how smoke looks with the glossifier. I'm going to wait on doing mine until I see how the plasti dip looks. I'd rather go this route since it could just peel off if I get pulled over for it.
