Turbo+ AWD!!!!!

Are any of you registered for the Dragon meet?

I am not registering. Like the Jasons, I refuse to give them my money. The only way I would is if it some how supports Chris's efforts to put it together. If it helps, Chris then yes, I'll register. But if Autoguides (Forum-Walmart) gets a single dime from it, not only no but HELL NO.

the meet wont be big this year and its giveaways for civics only, thats why I figure I can get an exhaust shoot in as well.

Its pretty much a SI giveway.... Very few things for a R18, even thou I did win my shift knob one year...

Word. I'll skip on the registrations. That forum makes enough money treating people like **** as it is.

They make no more money off me, canceled my VIP as soon as I left there

Word. Just talked to Jeff @ CygnusPerformance. Next item to research, Front lower control arm braces. He says it should be high on the list with this year's model. We also talked a bit about the front sway, and he pointed out that more than the bar (going to a 22 from 21) should be considered when deciding. He told me to try without, and if there's still room for improvement, it may be worth replacing. With the adjustability, you can go up to 24mm on it. He says he runs his (MY 07) at full stiff in front, medium in read and loves it for auto-x. I think with my use, I'll be fine on RSB only for now, but going to do some more digging.

Chris posted in the Registration thread that the money goes to cover his expenses and dinner on Sat.

I barely go on that site so I wouldn't know. Thank you for relaying the info.

Only if it's going to Chris, like Nathan I might just pay in person, people have done that last year

^^^ This

Chris has done a lot of legwork through the years to set this thing up. I believe this is the last time he's doing it. I'll support Chris any day of the week.

Nope. He's the Dragon daddy.

On another note, my plans to replace the wheels are temporarily side tracked as I attempt to be the Devil's Advocate and convince Jason (VA Type) to buy wheels so I can buy his. Joey (my paint guy) is afraid that they're going to chip and he said, "If I do it, I'm going to do it right and it'll look great BUT they'll chip from roadwear and the price is going to be steep...." then he said, "I recommend all of my wheel request to Precision Powder coaters." I <3 Joey. He's guided me to PRecision before and they do do great work. Problem is, I'm still looking at about $360 as a minimum to get the $400 wheels repainted PLUS Precision is only open til 4pm M-F and I don't feel like being a slave to their schedule so I'm stuck with the gold wheels (which I'm OVER) until I a) find a decent set of used hyperblack or gunmetal wheels that I like and are 17" b) break down and buy another set of Rotas because I refuse to drop mad coin on wheels c) convince Jason to buy new wheels then buy his. lol.

Come on Jason DO IT.

DO It. Do it do it do it do it please please please please please. The gold is really bugging me. Please please please lol

I thought you were getting brakes and then sways??

On another note, I got the ball rolling for the exhaust video on 8th, a PM to a few of the people going. I don't wanna link this with 8thcvic at all. It's something that I miss and want brought back for this meet.
