Twisted's Work

You have some nice tree pictures there :giggle:

Seriously though, good work! Looks like you've gotten all sorts of paint issues sorted

That's life - as I've seen it.

In most cases, people don't respect other's rights, belongings, etc., and when a mistake is made, rarely do they accept any responsibility.

This vehicle was scheduled for a intense interior detail with just a wash an wax for the exterior. however after seeing the exterior in proper lighting I just couldn't let myself give it back to the customer in that condition. So I decided that I would do a quick one step, and it worked out for me too since I wanted to finally get to play around with Meguiars Ultimate compound.

Foamed with DG901 mixed with Autowerkes Exclusive APC
Washed with DG901 via 2BM
Clayed with DI Medium Clay bar w/ CG Luber for lube
Applied Iron X (I shouldn't have bothered with it since I only saw one small dot change color and I used a third of the bottle.)
Rewashed with DG901

Polished with Meguiars Ultimate Compound and Cyan Hydrotech pad on my PC

LSP Prima Bananna Gloss. I chose this not only because I haven't used it in a while, but also because I wanted to take advantage of it's slight filling abilities to take care of any minor swirls that were left over.

Final wipe down with ReLoad

Interior Before:
The interior was in ROUGH shape to say the least. I ended up removing both front seats to get not only the carpet under them cleaned, but also so I could clean all of the drips on the center console.

I'm pretty sure this is puke, but the customer said she didn't know what it was.

The white marks on the plastic in this picture are actually scuffs and gouges not dirt.

After Sun Shots
DSC_0057.jpg

DSC_0071.jpg

Thats all for the sun shots since it got very cloudy in the afternoon. The entire car looked about the same. The hood and truck had some deep RIDS still left in them, but the rest of the vehicle finished about 85% perfect. I was very impressed with the Meguiars Ultimate compound. It worked as long as I wanted it too, even in direct sunlight, it's barely dusted at all, and it cut and finished wonderfully!!!

Any input on the vette roof yet?

Sorry Kenny. I did hear back from one guy, but he just said he would advise against it, but didn't give any substantial reason why. I sent an email to another detailer I know from the forums and am waiting to hear back from him.

that tsx was just nasty! I don't know how the person drove around in that. Awesome transformation though...wow

Today we have a Mini Cooper S that needs to be cleaned up before the owner puts it on the market. Overall it’s not in terrible shape, and it’s a great color since no matter what light source I used I could not capture the light swirls with the camera. This was a one-step correction, but unfortunately from a swirls point of view the before and afters would have looked almost identical since this paint hides imperfections so well. I can honestly say that 90% of the imperfections were removed during this detail.
