Vacation Thread

Wife has got a cough and fluid in her ear. Just bought amoxicillin over the counter in Mexico for like $10 Cnd down the road. Something is seriously wrong with usa and Canada healthcare. I probably would have paid more with my benefits and universal healthcare.
Oh man. She's just getting over this now. Not sure if I mentioned. But she ended up getting tubes in her ears. Lots of antibiotics and ear drops.

Not sure if I mentioned about the Alaska Cruise I'm doing in July. Holland America is the cruise line. Think it's more older people but I'm fine with that. My wife and MIL used them for when they did a cruise last year I believe.

It's more of a trip my MIL wants to go on before she dies. Like a bucket list trip. She's doing fine health wise but I guess since she will be 75 this year she wants to go while she can.

Baltimore -> Seattle
Cruise up to Alaska and back down
Seattle -> Baltimore

So it's going to be my wife and I in a room. MIL and wife's friend together in another room. Wife's other friend and her boyfriend in a room. Wife's other friend (just mentioned) mom and sister in a room. We thought it was going to be 6 of us but the one friend invited her mom/sister..

I keep seeing dollar sign ($$$) but it's a 'once in a lifetime' trip. I'm not planning on going back to Alaska lol

Cruise (gotta have the balcony/verandah room - can't be inside whatever they call it)
* Drink & WiFi package
* Excursions
* Wife wants to do the spa one day
* Transferred from airport to hotel / hotel to cruise terminal / cruise terminal to airport
Flights
Hotel in Seattle before the cruise
Food in Seattle
Site seeing crap

:hmmm?:

I’m dying to visit Alaska AND take a Cruise but nobody else in the family wants to. We settled on Yellowstone this June.

It will be my 1st cruise... :hiding:

Yellowstone! Nice :thumbsup:

Wife wants to do Glacier National Park & Banff National Park. Then Yellowstone and another National Park. :think:

Think maybe end of August we might go out to San Fran/San Diego to watch the Orioles (baseball) play. They are in San Fran for 3 days and San Diego 3 days.

If you’re in Seattle for more than just a few minutes to transfer from airport to cruise ship, hit me up. I could see if I can swing out that way for a beer

I know we are there July 18th/19th and the ship leaves the 20th.
But I need to check with the wife to see the game plan as she has the itinerary :giggle:
